Homestead is a stronghold of the Black Legion and serves as the main town or hub in Act 3. the area has a Riftgate and connects with the Withering Fields, The Conflagration, Thornsbury Farm and The Fallow Fields.

Homestead has several sections in a state of disrepair; these can be restored over time by completing various quests.

the Act 2 side quest Vengeance adds Isaiah Reddan as a merchant if you don't kill him.
Lost Armaments adds two cannons to the ramparts.
Completing Culling the Swarm adds the NPC Chef Brackham.
Allies Among the Ashes restores a building on the west side which then houses the representative from either the Order of Death's Vigil or Kymon's Chosen.
Lumber for the Legion repairs a building in the lower west corner and adds bunk beds.
Achieving Respected status with either the Order or Kymon's Chosen adds a Faction Quartermaster for that faction to the area by the well. (Keeper Poruuk or Brother Adrius respectively.)
