Depraved Sanctuary is an underground world area in Act 1. The area is a challenging dungeon located east of the Burrwitch Outskirts Riftgate. It is inhabited by large numbers of Bloodsworn cultists and their chthonic minions.
Entry is gained by means of a locked Iron Door; to unlock it you must be in possession of the Strange Key, which can be obtained in two ways:
- As a reward when allowing Direni to live in the quest A Cultist in the Midst.
- As a random drop from cultists in the area and a guaranteed drop (not guaranteed on Elite) from the hero cultist which has a chance of spawning in the Cultist's Lair to the South-West).
